The rash of bijou residences on the Western Link Road built by Bovine construction has been complimented by an equally bijou roundabout constructed to serve the new mini-suburb.
Cunningly designed to be invisible until the last moment to drivers travelling from the Oare direction, this Lilliputian civil engineering feat undergoes daily remodelling by heavy lorries unable to negotiate the challenging turning circle.
One has to wonder who was entrusted with its design, given that the Western Link Road serves the M&S, Shepherd Neame and Sainsbury’s depots and the recycling site at Oare.
