Back in September, we predicted that given the appalling track record of ZCO Limited, the new operator of the Post Office, there would be queues round the block at Christmas. This dire prediction turned out not to be true. There were no queues on the 21st of December, the last day for posting before Christmas, as it was shut for most of the day due to “staff shortage.”
