Issue 9 Update

Dear Readers,

We hope you are all safe and well in these difficult times.

To do our bit keeping everyone informed during the Coronavirus lockdown, we are busy working on the next issue which we hope to publish at the end of April.

We obviously won't be able to hand out papers as usual, so we are looking at the possibility of distributing door-to-door during the crisis if the demand is there.

If you can deliver in your area or street (perhaps as part of your daily exercise?) or would like to receive a copy of the Eye, please get in touch via favershameye@outlook.com. We'll decide on the size of the print run once we know how many we can safely distribute.

We also want to hear about your personal experiences: How has the pandemic affected you, your families, friends, colleagues, school or business? How are you coping with isolation and/or a loss of income? Have you or a family member had the illness? How have shops and businesses responded? Have you been affected by supermarket shortages? Are you an NHS worker? Do you want to pay tribute to those going above and beyond for their community?

Please get in touch and share your stories and pictures. We will publish as many as we can.

We also want to hear from groups and organisations working in the community. Please tell us what you are doing and where and what information would you like us to share – especially with those who may not have access to the internet or social media. We will help however we can.

Stay safe everybody and look after each other.
