We asked the Faversham and Mid Kent parliamentary candidates from all four main parties for interviews in the run up to next week's general election: Conservative, Labour, Lib Dem and Green.
Jenny Reeves (Lab), Hannah Perkin (Lib Dem) and Hannah Temple (Green) all agreed to give face-to-face interviews while our current MP Helen Whately (Con) asked to respond via email.
Each profile/interview was researched, conducted and written by a different member of the Eye's editorial staff, but was based on roughly similar questions. As our serving MP for the last four years, Helen Whately was asked additional questions relating to her record. However, after sending our emails to her office, we received no further reponse.
