Both Town and Borough Councils have been busy with new initiatives over the past year despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic. Recent funding from SBC for the Faversham Pools was much appreciated and there has been much controversy over the town centre road closures and the 20mph restrictions. In the next issue we will be taking a critical look at all the measures and policies our recently elected councils have introduced and, most importantly, assess their effectiveness. In the mean time we hope all our councillors show commitment to saving what is left of Faversham creekside for maritime use.
